Treasures from the Creek: Clam Shell Trinket Tray Workshop
May 17 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Join Becky Hooper from Aunt B Creates for a unique and locally inspired crafting experience in The Workshop at Bellavenue Manor on Saturday, May 17, 10:30am-12:00pm! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a charming set of two clam shell trinket trays, each one a little piece of Morgan County.
What makes these trinket trays truly special? The clam shells used in this project are lovingly harvested from our very own Meigs Creek, right here in Morgan County, with a little help from Becky’s grandson! You’ll learn a delightful process similar to decoupage to adorn these natural treasures with your chosen designs.
Becky will have a variety of options available to choose from, but I must admit, my favorite is the lavender theme! To add a touch of elegance and shine, each finished shell will be delicately trimmed in gold. These unique trinket trays are perfect for holding small jewelry, keys, or other precious keepsakes.
The cost of this special workshop is $25, payable during pre-registration. Space is limited for this class, so early registration is essential! To reserve your spot, please email us at: [email protected]
